Now taking orders for New Medallion Glory!
Here is my 1st casting of the 1st cast Glory in progress to a chestnut roany appy mare. She will be for sale when she is done and I will post her final pics on here then. Glory was originally "Faith" the Show for the cure 2009 medallion which was not for sale unpainted. I had so many people who really liked her and wanted a chance to paint one so I cut off the ribbon frame and made a harness collar as a frame..
I then changed her forelock and mane some so they were not identical to the original "faith" medallion.
Below are more pics of each side and one of the first 4 cast.
Glory is $40.00 ea with $5.00 discount for orders of 4 or more. Postage is $4.80 US. for up to 4 sent priority mail. email me if you would like to order one at: Becky@solticeart.com
I take paypal and credit cards thru paypal , money orders and checks. ( to be held until they clear the bank aprox 10 business days.) I also accept payments. Glory can be paid in 2 installments of $20.00 each paid in full within 4 weeks.
Dontay the dog
This is my 1st Dontay resin in progress to be a portrait of him for his owner.
This is the resin that I made to help the real Dontay with his front elbow surgery.
Half the proceeds of this resin got toward his surgery bill.
He is a big dog, part irish wolfhound and made to fit a trad size horse set up.
The Dontay resin is solid cast and are $60.00 each for an unpainted resin.
He is very detailed with lots of hair texture. Shipping is $4.80 for up to 2 resins
If you would like to make payments on Dontay, you can make 2 payment of $30.00 each to be paid in 4 weeks or 3 payments of 20.00 to be paid in full within 6 weeks.
This is a recent commission of a Deb McDermott stabelmate size Al-Hadiye resin painted a gold bay with a skunk tail.
This is an in progress foal Id would like to have cast in china or porcelain. If he were standing he would be about classic size. I may remove him from his base but until I talk to someone about casting him to see if he would be easier to mold with or without, I'll leave him on the base. I do plan on casting him in resin also but for a very small limited run. Would you like him better on or off if I do him in resin?
Tell me what you think.
And last.. the mean pony mare.
I took the feathers off her front legs to better make her little hooves and pasterns then Ill put them back on and he little legs will be all furry in back again. besides needing that done I just need to smooth out her body a little and she will be ready for her waste mold. Her foal and the other pony mare are still in progress but almost as close as this girl. I want to release them all at one time so they sell as a set or one at a time.. your choice. Alas... Im not very good with names so everyone.. any ideas..???
she is protecting her new born foal from a maiden mare who really just was curious and wanted a closer look!

I love the pony mare! I've been watching her ever since you posted her for the first time, she looks like my pony- and Dontay looks great, too.
Nice work on everything! I love the expression on that mean pony mare. The dog is neat, too!
I definitely need a Glory in my life, and will be on the hunt for a Faith too!
Your foal is beautiful, I am working on a similar one, facing the other way! Maybe they could be friends, hehe!
Thank you for the update Becky, you've been so busy, I can't wait to see the Glory and the Dontay all finished up.
Kelly
Kelly! hey.. my foal is alot smaller than yours.. this one is only is few inches tall if that.. I had forgotten you were doing one.. until I was on the ress forum the other day and was reminded when I saw the sit about it.. actually I had an idea after seeing a lying unicorn that jenn danza sold so I started one which was going to be really stylized but the sculpey wasn't working out to well so I redid it in the wax/cay and then got carried away in details and realism! not what I had planned at all.. darn it..lol I do the same thing when I draw or paint.. lol.. always tight and cant seem to loosen up my stuff... Im not sure yet what I will do with the foal..

I think you could name the mean pony mare "Jocasta", "Hera" or "Atia"! But that may just be me. I like her!
