So Sorry for going so long between posts..I mean to post and then I just get so busy, and well.... a part of it is Im a really crappy typest and it takes me longer to fix the typos than it does to actually type and then lots of time is gone.. and I always feel like I dont have enough time as it is and with a bunch of projects in the works.. well... time is NOT on my side! lol....ok enough of my excuses! I wanted to post this auction for Lauren Tapley who has painted one of my reworked "one in a million" medallions.. photo of the medallion is above and the auction explains all and can be found here http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230402613359
Other news, Im almost done with a remade Breyer jumper who has a Breyer salierno head and wow.. I am just in love with this guy... I did have to tweak his mane and forelock since I took the pics as his owner says he will have one of them crochet ear covers and will be hauled to lots of shows so she was afraid any tiny bits may break in all the packing and unpacking...I'll take final photos when Im done with the tail before I ship and post him here . Oh! Also I had done a remake on the breyer classic arab foal many months ago but never got around to painting it..., well my dog scratched his eye and I had a vet bill to pay so I sold the little guy to Cindy Williams who painted him a lovely pinto and he just had his first show and she says he took a 1st in his class and won Division champion! way to go!!! his name is snickers and I hope he brings her many more wins! I do have more of these bodies and plan on doing more remakes on it in the near future but.. I can promise you I will be painting at least one of them..

Im also working on a piece for resins by randy and will have some photos of him soon..well more like sneak peaks.. Im have high hopes for this sculpture!
OK new resins out.. If you haven't heard by now, as I have ads posted all over.. My new pony foal "Traveler" is done and casting. I was waiting to post him here until I had painted ones to show you.. and I have just finished 2 and painted another one of the mares to go with the him. I am also having 2nd thoughts about the whole series... I had planned on making a whole heard of ponies, many mares and foals scampering around and a few stallions to throw into the mix there.. but they don't seem to be selling as well as I had hoped. Im not sure if they just don't appeal to people or if its the economy.. so I may cast the the one other mare I have that is almost done ( but not real soon, more like spring) and I may just stop there. If things seem to pick up and they start to sell more I may rethink that decision but for now I don't foresee me making any new pieces in this series. I just wish my photography would show how tiny and cute they are in person. My photos do them no justice at all.
Also below is a Breyer Sm G1 arab I remade for a client, his photo just doesn't show all the colors in his coat and tail. Part of my problem is I cant find my photo box! I had it all broken down to the pvc pipes and joints, I put it away until I had room to set it up.... well I now have room and lights and .. no box.. I have searched everyplace and can't find them! so.. as soon as I can find the time Ill be searching even more.. My aunt came up with a really good idea... when I go to put something away..I should have a file on my computer called "find it" and I should put in it where I put things, so later I can find them! lol.. its pretty bad when I put them away so good I lose them! The problem is... I have very little room and we are trying to come up with space saving ideas all the time... right now my mom and I are trying to come up with a better work area for me.. I usually sit in a big over size chair and I have a table to my right all set up with my work stuff and it has an area that swings out that I put my laptop on so its usually right in front of me so I can see my reference photos and answer emails as soon as they come in..... but .. its just not enough... I have no room for a big work table in here so.. were trying to come up with a new table design.. I will let you know how that goes...
Below are the foals the mare I just did and the sm remake... as you can see I really need my photo box! way to bright of lighting!

Everything looks great -- I know the economy has taken a huge bite out of me and I'm sure it has for others, so I hear ya there.
