The Glory of GLory!

Here is my latest finished pice.. one of my Glory medallions done for Jean Davis. He is a dark bay roan... I love him in this dark bay color... also done is the Prosser "Time Piece" jumper resin .. all glossed up and base painted and ready to go to his new owner.. this is the 2nd black I have painted. This one doesn't show as much of the burnt brown undertones as my last piece.. but shows enough to lend his color some depth..

I think next time I'll try one in blue undertones for a blue black. I don't usually care for resins painted black because they dont often show depth to the color..its a hard color to do right.. I think Im getting it but still not 100% happy with how I do it.. Id like to see even more colors in there somehow. .. so I think I will paint one of my own resins for a sales piece and use it for practice.. I think the quarter horse I did for Resins by Randy. But not until I get my commissions done.. oh and Deb if your reading this.. you latest remake is coming along! I just want him perfect as I can get him so he sells well for you guys! I will be posting pics of him on here soon.. so stay tuned.
