Sneak Peak

Soon to come.. .. a very special piece..
It's better late than never I guess.. it was suppose to be done before christmas but being sick I didn't much feel like working.. Im working on the frame now.. I'll post more pics when its farther along.
Also I just finished this remake for Jean D., Its a remake of a stablemate size resin.. I don't know who the original sculpting artist was but its alot different than the original.. then painted with pastels and acrylics to a pretty chestnut pinto.
He doesn't have his eyes of hooves glossed in these photos yet though..
Im almost done with the Sommer Prosser jumper and I'll post photos when he is finished.. just waiting for him to dry right now and re-gloss him and paint the base.
I also have a Michelle Platt "Ask" in the works in oils.. I'll post photos of that when I have him farther along. The new sculpt of the morgan mare hasn't been worked on for a few weeks.... I wanted to get these commissions done first and I still have a few more remakes for clients to finish too.. will post pics of them when they are more presentable!
Oh Im now on face book.. yep I finally caved. all my friends and my daughter is on there so to see pics of the grandkids and whats going on with everyone I finally joined..I kept getting invitations in my email and so I did it and yes its taking up more time than I'd like it too.. thats what I thought would happen.. sigh...lol ...like I need more distractions! lol oh well.. Im on there as Rebecca Turner if anyone wants to ck it out.. I will also be posting pics of my art there soon.. .

What's not to like! Oh and by the way the resin is the ASB by Carlee Balling.

Nice work, Becky! Love the pinto. I like that little buckskin you showed in your previous post, too -- is that the base that you had stored in the barn? Where do you get the "grass" stuff for it? I would love to try something like that :-)
