Jazzy the day he came here to live.. we renamed him..

he just didn't seem to be a dynamite.

Sadly we lost a good horse today. He was only 8.. a young age to pass... Jazz was an appy gelding that a friend gave us when we were looking for a well trained horse to trail ride since my appy mare wasn't broke to ride on the trails yet. Even though our friend Sandy had an offer for quite a bit of money for him she knew he couldn't have a better home than here. And we did love him even when he was a bit ornery... and I spoiled him rotten with treats which he really didn't need.

We had him 2 years but sometime late last night he got very sick. The vet says some kind of bacteria infection but he said they really don't know how they get them... but they are very contagious and this one worked fast... at the ned he didn't know which way was forward or backward.. he was just stumbling around...and backing up and was just really miserable. the vet said he hadnt seen a horse this sick in awhile... he did lay down before the vet put him to sleep which Im glad for.. he is buried out in the back filed now.. at rest.. ... I hope to see you again beyond the rainbow bridge jazzy.....
