Jazzy after a ride with April
Jazzy and april
Jazzy the day he came here to live.. we renamed him..
he just didn't seem to be a dynamite.
We had him 2 years but sometime late last night he got very sick. The vet says some kind of bacteria infection but he said they really don't know how they get them... but they are very contagious and this one worked fast... at the ned he didn't know which way was forward or backward.. he was just stumbling around...and backing up and was just really miserable. the vet said he hadnt seen a horse this sick in awhile... he did lay down before the vet put him to sleep which Im glad for.. he is buried out in the back filed now.. at rest.. ... I hope to see you again beyond the rainbow bridge jazzy.....

I am so sorry.
Oh no! I am so sorry, Becky. It makes it worse when it happens so suddenly :-(
Oh thanks guys.. actually I think Id prefer fast rather than long drawn out trying to save them and then they die.. but yeah its really awful.. he was way to young to die... just last night he was running and bucking in the pasture.. then the next night at the same time he is dead.. its still not sunk in yet.. poor boy... he really was so so miserable..Im glad its over now and he isnt in pain.. it just threw me because he was soaking his mouth..so Id thought( and was hoping) at first it was a allergic reaction or a poison... ...
Becky, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Jazzy.
Oh no Becky! I'm SO sorry to hear of this!!! That's so young & so suddenly. Hugs. Just hugs. :*(
I'm so sorry to hear this Becky, what a trajedy. At least he went quickly and is resting at peace now, I'm glad he had you there to do what was necessary for him.
Virtual hugs from across the pond.
Kelly
