Kiss my nose!
PAF remake Painted by Sommer Prosser

and at the Germany show winning big!

Half Arabian PAF remake at Germany show! (Breyerfest? NAN equivalent?)
1st place in Customs and 3rd in Championship Customs!
Ok my email is down again.. Im getting really tired of this.. it seems to happen at least every few weeks now all summer.. I can't get to it because the server is busy...or some other excuse... they seem to be having problems lately with the servers or the software not sure which but I think its time for them to upgrade.. they have got to get this fixed or I will have to move to someone more stable.. so if you are waiting for an email this morning it will be late.. hopefully I will be able to get to it soon...
I have been so busy with everything I havent had time or really too much to really post about.. I have been working on some remakes for Sommer Prosser so people can see more of my work.. she will be and has been showing them.. and they have done really well at shows too! I will get some better photos from her of them and post them here.. in the mean time I had done a remake on a paf a while back and sommer painted it for my client, Katja C.in Switzerland, She was kind enough to let sommer show it at a local show and it got NAN qualified then she did show it at NAN.. I forget how it did but I just got a email Katja and he did very very well at their version of nan or breyerfest.. not really sure which it is but I know its a very large show and she goes to it every year.. anyways.. the foal got 1st in foal customs and 3rd in the championship class! not bad for a little arab foal remake and he was up against some really really nice pieces done by some big name artists!... she also told me a few people were actually badgering her to buy him! thats really quite a complement to me.. he isn't that drastic a remake..I redid his face and improved on his anatomy to make him for foal like, and redid the mane and tail and added in lots of tiny details as I always do anyways... but I left the splayed legs.. Id love to do another one and fix the legs thats the plan anyways...knowing Sommer she will grab him up though... if not he will be a sales piece..... anyways Im just really happy she is so darn happy with him! its why I do this.. well that and I just love to sculpt but having really really hay customers makes it so rewarding to me... and I hope to them too! I have more remakes in progress and I will post photos of them here when they are done.. then.. yep...I will be getting Whistlejacket finished.. yep finally! he is sitting here waiting for me to work on his poor legs... he is in resin but the waste casting which needs fixed in spots...also Resins By Randy has cast Storm Chaser and Im waiting for my artist copies.. I guess they are having problems fitting his feet into the base ( after casting the resin may shift and warp a tiny bit enough so they just don't quite fit how they should in the slots ) so I hope they figure that out. maybe just go with the wire in the foot to make it easier so they don't have to mess with each casting.. Im still waiting to see if anyone who bought one at Breyerfest has painted their copy yet..I'd love to see him painted up... he just doesn't seem to photograph well naked.. As for other new works I do have some stuff in progress just haven't had time to get much done between family things going on me being really busy trying to get theses remakes done in time for Breyerwest... after that there are a ton of things I need to get done around here! my little studio is getting a bit unruly and really needs to be better better organized... I just haven't had the time or energy to do it.. so when its not quite so hot and humid and I have a bit of time.. I will get that done.. then I can start in on new pieces! I want to also get some things done and in my etsy store this fall.. I have some ATCs I have done I plan on posting for sale..I just need to order the sleeves to send them in... so I'm still here just been busy is all.. and really haven't had much to share..
oh and Katja if you want to let me know the name of the show in the comments section I can change it to the correct name here..

awwww what an honor to see this published, Becky !!! he sure was a big magnet at the show :D
it is the ModelhorseFest Bensheim that was also known as BreyerFest Germany in the past... it actually is an official Breyer Tour stop as well :) the show was held on August 27th this year :)
Am so honored to own this little man... he's such a treasure <3
